The UGX Gaming Stand is a must have accessory for the serious gamer. As with the other custom built gaming solutions on this site, the UGX Gaming Stand was born out of the need for a high quality and sturdy steering wheel stand, though the final version took a more modular design. Standard configurations are steering wheel stand and arcade joystick stand, although the UGX Gaming Stand can be easily configured for a flight stick or any other peripheral needing a sturdy base.
The stand is built from solid MDF, with the bottom base and extension shaft made from 1" material, and all remaining parts are made from 3/4" MDF. This stand is rather large and heavy, but no other configuration provided a sufficiently stable platform to hold a steering wheel.
